TJ, a gifted driver and extreme sports athlete, was born to race and push the limits of his abilities. Performing amongst the fiercest challengers in racing, he hopes to qualify for the premiere league and get his chance to "live the dream."

T.J. Bell, an only child, was born in Sparks, NV on August 25, 1980 to Tim and Linda Bell who have been married for 36 years. From the early age of 5, T.J. developed his interest and passion for racing. Watching his father compete in motorcycle racing, the speed and exhilaration that racing provided was something that T.J. immediately fell in love with.

After a number of years practicing and preparing for his first race, he was given the chance to compete in the Nevada Go-Cart Championship, where he went on to win 6 consecutive championships.

At the age of 17 he started racing professionally and raced in the SCCA Formula 2000 Series where he won 1 of the 9 races he competed in.

The following year he continued demonstrating his talents when he qualified to race in part of the United States Formula 2000 Series. He raced in 20 races during 1998 and 1999 as the youngest driver in the series, finishing in the top-3 in four races, the top-5 in seven races and the top-10 in eleven races.

2000
In 2000 he drove as a member of Michael Shank’s team in the CART Toyota Championship and finished in the top 5 in five of his races.

2002
In 2002, was the year of one of his favorite career highlights when he competed in all 5 major classic sports car endurance events.. After another run in the Toyota Championship he was drafted into the ASCARI Factory Team and raced in all five major classic Sportscar Endurance events, including the 24 Hours of Daytona, 12 Hours of Sebring, and 24 Hours of LeMans. In events like these, he would build his iron will, strength and stamina, the essential character traits of great racers.

2003
In 2003 T.J. raced in his first stock car race competing in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) finishing 20th in overall points and capturing two “Raybestos Rookie of the Race” awards.

2004
In 2004 T.J. drove for Powertech Motorsports and drove the ARCA RE/MAX Series where he finished 3rd in the series in points. He was awarded the ARCA RE/MAX Series “Rookie of the Year,” as well as the THERMO-TEC Durable Driver of the Year Award with most laps completed (96%).

2005
In 2005, competing in the ARCA RE/Max Race Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Race Series and the NASCAR Busch Race series, Bell had one Top 5 and four Top 10 finishes. In the summer of 2005, he was hired by DCT Motorsports to drive their #36 Pontiac, earning a best finish of 22nd in eight races.

2006
He drove 6 races in the ARCA Series in 2006 for Bobby Jones Racing, but wasn’t able to finish the series due to lack of funding from his sponsor. Despite this, he still finished 2nd in points in the series (through his 6 races).

2007
In 2007 he signed with Roush/Fenway and raced in 16 of the 25 races in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. He finished 22nd in points out of 60 drivers in the series.

2008
2008 was T.J.’s breakout year where he impressed many by finishing in the top ten, 7 out of the 17 races where he drove in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (five of finishes in the top 10 were consecutive). He finished the season being ranked as the #1 Closer, with 1,765 spots, and 30 positions moved up.

2009
In 2009 he competed in 25 races in the Camping World Truck Series for Red Horse Racing. He ranked in the top 15 drivers for fastest speed in traffic, quality passes, laps run on lead lap, laps in top 15, fastest on restarts, fastest drivers early and late run, and closer.

2010
In 2010 he raced in the World Truck Series for MAKE Motorsports. During the race in Darlington his right front tire was cut, resulting in an accident. He finished 26th in the race. Despite this, he will be racing for MAKE again in the 2011 Darlington race.

2011
T.J. will be driving the #50 Green Smoke® Toyota Camry, in his first attempt to qualify for NASCAR's longest race. Unfortunately he missed qualifying by Here he hopes to 'live the dream" and make a name for himself in the premiere leagues.
